Halyard Health Appoints Edwina Payne as Vice President and Chief Information Officer
ALPHARETTA, Ga., Jan. 12, 2017 -- Halyard Health, Inc. (NYSE: HYH) recently announced that Edwina Payne has been appointed to the position of vice president and chief information officer, reporting to Steve Voskuil, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
As a member of Halyard Health’s leadership team, Payne will be responsible for the company’s global information technology strategy and all IT assets including architecture, applications, data management, technology, telecommunication networks, and support and operations.
“Edwina’s depth of experience in leading global IT organizations will be key to achieving our strategic direction of transforming Halyard into a world-class healthcare company,” said Voskuil. “As a skilled veteran, her appointment reflects the critical role our global IT team will play in bringing that strategy to life.”
Payne comes to Halyard with more than 30 years of global IT experience, including directing strategic initiatives and leveraging technology to help organizations become more competitive. Most recently, as CIO for medical device manufacturer Zimmer Biomet, she led the IT organization’s transformation, creating a global organization focused on delivering competitive advantage for the company.
Payne began her corporate career at Kellogg Company, where she held leadership positions in Brazil and Mexico. In her last assignment at Kellogg, she established a Global Information Services and Support Center, providing remote support to 3,000-plus users across 11 countries in North America, Latin America and Europe.
Following Kellogg, Payne joined Johnson & Johnson in their DePuy orthopeadics medical device unit. There, she eventually served as vice president and program manager for a global ERP deployment for Johnson & Johnson’s medical devices and diagnostics business until joining Zimmer Biomet in 2010.
Payne and her family will relocate to Alpharetta from Fort Wayne, Ind.
